India’s lures visitors with its glorious past and giving you a glimpse of the treasure, Indian Splendour is a 7-day itinerary aboard the luxury train, Maharajas’ Express. Starting its journey from Delhi, the train travels to the Mughal City-Agra, home of the Taj, proceeding to the wildlife haven of Ranthambore, continuing to ‘Pink City’ Jaipur, ‘Camel city’ Bikaner, ‘Blue city’ Jodhpur, the beautiful city of Udaipur and finally ending its journey in Mumbai.

Arrive at the Delhi Safdurjung Railway Station by 08:15 hours for check-in formalities. Enjoy the welcome drink and check out your cabins and the luxury train. By 09:15, the Maharajas’ Express proceeds to the city of Taj, Agra.
Proceed to any of the luxury restaurants onboard for brunch by 09:30 hours. Later, attend the tour briefing to get complete details about your trip, the places you will see and more.
You will be arriving into Agra by 14:15 hours. Disembark to pay a visit to the TajMahal. The white-marbled mausoleum is known as the ‘icon of love’. Built by Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan for his beloved MumtazMahal, the monument is a beauty beyond words.
After taking-in the splendid beauty, return to the comforts of Maharajas’ Express. Choose any of the optional activities. Either pamper yourself with a spa session at a Hotel or by attending the Mohabbat the Taj Show.
Enjoy a mouth-watering dinner at any of the plush restaurants onboard. Overnight stay in the luxury train.
Start the day early. By 07:00 hours proceed to visit the Agra Fort or you may choose optional activity to visit ItmadudDaula. The red-sandstone fortress of Agra is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and had been the centre of governance for the Mughal Empire. Itmad-ud-Daulah also known as ‘Baby Taj’ is an impressive monument that is one of the finest specimens of Mughal architecture.
By 09:00 return to Maharajas’ Express and proceed with a lavish breakfast onboard. Watch the passing countryside as the train proceeds to Ranthambore. The province of the Royal Bengal Tigers was formerly the hunting grounds of the royal family of Jaipur and now is a wildlife sanctuary.
Savor lunch served onboard by 13:00 hours at any of the lavish restaurants- Rang Mahal or MayurMahal. On arrival at the SawaiMadhopur Railway Station, close to the Ranthambore National Park disembark for a game drive. The afternoon safari provide amazing opportunity to spot tigers and other wildlife in their natural habitat
By 18:15 hours, get back onboard the Maharajas’ Express as the train proceeds to the royal capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur.
Dinner and overnight stay onboard.
Begin the day by 07:00 with a hearty breakfast served onboard at any of the luxury restaurants. By 08:00 hours proceed with sightseeing. Pay a visit to the golden-hued Amber Fort overlooking the city of Amer and Jaipur. The magnificent fortress is listed among the hill forts of Rajasthan which are enlisted among UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Post-sightseeing, choose any of the optional activities. The choices include spa at a hotel or a visit to the City Palace and Observatory (JantarMantar) or a local city tour.
Return to the comforts of Maharajas’ Express by noon. After an hour of rest, proceed to the plush restaurants on-board- Rang Mahal or MayurMahal for a sumptuous lunch that delight your taste buds.
Spend the afternoon at your own leisure. By 17:00 hours deboard and proceed for dinner at the Rambagh Palace. Owned by the Taj Group, the palace turned hotel is a part of the treasured heritage of Jaipur and Rajasthan. Once the royal residence of the ruling family of Jaipur, the lavish palace still maintains its charms, making you feel like royalty.
At 21:00 hours get back to the comforts of Maharajas’ Express. As you ready for bed, the train proceeds to Bikaner.
Wake up to the lavish comforts of the Indian luxury train. Later, proceed for breakfast at 08:00 to the onboard venues to delight in a lavish spread while enjoying views of the countryside.
Arrive to Bikaner by 10:00. Choose to either relax onboard or optional activities. Choices include visit to Lalgarh Museum or a local tour of Bikaner City. Proceed for a delicious lunch onboard at one of the lavish restaurants aboard by 13:00 hours.
By 14:00 hours proceed to visit the Junagarh Fort. The magnificent fortress of Bikaner is home to many treasures housed in the museum. After exploring the historic structure, continue the evening expedition to the beautiful sand dunes. The golden stretch of the Thar Desert is a beauty beyond words and the mesmerizing sunset makes it worthwhile. Awe at the landscape followed by cocktails, bar-be-que and folk dances.
By 20:15 Return to the comforts of the Maharajas' Express while the train leaves for Jodhpur.
Start the day with lavish breakfast at the onboard restaurants by 07:00 hours.
Arrive into Jodhpur, the ‘Blue City’ of Rajasthan by 08:00 hours. At 09:00 choose to enjoy the lavish comforts of the luxury train or the optional tours. Opt to pay a visit to the Bishnoi Village to explore the unique community or Choose to enjoy a pampering Spa session a hotel or proceed for an excursion to the magnificent UmaidBhawan Palace and JaswantThada or a city tour of Bikaner.
Lunch is served aboard at 13:00. Choose to relish the delicious fare at any of the opulent restaurants. Later, by 15:00 hours proceed to visit the mighty Mehrangarh Fort followed by a walking tour of the Old Clock Tower market. Enjoy a joy ride on TukTuks through the city.
Proceed for an exclusive cocktail dinner at HanwantMahal or KhaasBagh.
By 20:15 return to the comforts of the Maharajas' Express. The train proceeds to the next stop, Udaipur while you are in bed.
Start the day with a lavish breakfast. By 08:00 hours proceed to any of the onboard restaurants for a hearty start of the day.
Arrive at ‘City of Lakes’ Udaipur by 10:00 hours. Deboard the luxury train for boat ride on Lake Pichola followed by visit to City Palace and Crystal Gallery. After sightseeing, proceed for lunch at an exclusive venue. Lunch is arranged at Satkar Hall of Fateh Prakash Palace. Savor the scrumptious flavours of Indian food at the royal setting.
By 15:00 get back to the Maharajas’ Express and its lavish comforts. The train starts its journey towards the next stop, Mumbai. An exclusive Indian Evening is planned onboard with fun music, dance and delicious dinner.
