Since this forest had no visitors in the past, so the wildlife here is incredibly varied and visible. A beautiful area, where teak forest covers much of the vegetation and open grassland in an undulant land, at the foot of the Satpura Range. Washed by the Pench and Wainganga Rivers, it is a green and fertile area for several months of the year and provides a perfect environment for over 22 species of mammal, including sloth beer, leopard, tiger, deer and over 280 species of birds. Pench Tree Lodge , located very close to the Karamjhiri Gate of the Pench National Park, is the best place to stay for visiting the Pench Tiger Reserve. Satpura has excellent wildlife viewing opportunities and besides Tigers, the National park has Leopards, several types of Deer including Sambar, Chital and Antelopes, Wild Boar, Wild Dogs , as well as a wide variety of bird life. One of the features that makes Satpura unique is the fact that this is one of the few National Parks where Walking Safaris as well as Boat Safaris are available in addition to the regular Jeep Safaris. He will also assist you with the check in formalities. The Lalit is a modern 5 star hotel, located just a short walk from the city centre. The Lalit has recently been completely refurbished, and it now offers modern comfortable rooms, and outdoor swimming pool, a modern Gym and Spa amongst it’s many facilities. Overnight in Delhi.
