The Lallgarh Palace is an imposing red sandstone palace built by Maharaja Ganga Singhji in the memory of his father, Maharaj Lall Singhj in 1902 A.D. Sheer poetry in stone, the palace shines amid the bleak and rugged reality of the Thar Desert. An integrated example of Indo-Saracenic architecture, it is one of the brilliant creations of Sir Swinton Jacob. Host to dignitaries from all over the world, the 40 elegantly appointed rooms come with all modern day comforts and facilities. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool, and a billiard's table.
